Most extensions can be disabled or uninstalled in Firefox using the Add-ons manager ("Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions") although a few extensions may present removal problems. In some cases, you may need to run Firefox in a special mode called "Firefox Safe Mode" to access the Add-ons manager.
