5 helpful links for killer resume design

Jack Welch said, If you don’t have a competitive advantage, don’t compete. This philosophy shouldn’t be limited to business alone. Perhaps, you must consider to live by it. By the way, Jack Welch was the CEO of General Electric from 1981 to 2001. During his tenure as the CEO, GE revenue grew from USD26.8 billion (1980) to USD130billion (2000).
Your resume doesn’t have to be black and white – black text on white background – that’s Microsoft Office. Add in some colors, icons, etc to make it artistic – the hiring committee of a company goes through hundreds – if not thousands – of resumes. Your resume must catch their attention – it must stand out from the crowd. Do not compete, if you can’t differentiate. Here’s some sites that can help you get some inspiration for resume design – which reminds me – I need to do the same. I’m as guilty as you are – black and white resume – with standard Times New Roman 12pt fonts!!!
