Your privacy at ATM machines

Withdrawing money from an ATM yesterday, I noticed that how everyone in the queue can look at the ATM monitor and take note what type of transaction the person is doing – checking balance, transferring fund, paying bills etc.

I wonder, why these ATM are not equipped with monitor privacy filter?
